Which FNAF Character Are You? Five Nights at Freddy's is a video game created by Scott Cawthon. The core video game series consists of nine survival-based horror releases. Due to the insane (and nearly instant) success of the franchise, spin-off games, books and other media have spawned from the original series. While the game itself is relatively basic, the story arc is incredibly detailed. Some parts of the story are canonical, meaning they've been confirmed to be true, while other parts are fan theories that have become popular.
The primary antagonists in FNAF are animatronics haunted by the souls of children who were murdered in the Missing Children Incident. These include Freddy Fazbear, Foxy and Chica. A ghost version of Freddy also exists, called Golden Freddy, but nobody knows his true origins. The man who murdered the missing children, William Afton, also finds himself as a reanimated corpse stuffed inside a suit, called Springtrap. Have you ever wondered which of these FNAF characters you are? Take our quiz to find out!
Fun Facts
Did you know the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise made the video game edition of the Guinness Book of World Records? It won the world record for the largest number of sequels released in a single year. If you include the several spin-off games, it isn't a rare occurrence for two or more FNAF video games to come out in a single year.
Did you know every core FNAF video game contains hidden Easter eggs and rare screens? Many of these add to the story, while others are simply for fun. In one of these rare screens, Golden Freddy makes his appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's 1. He's presented as a possible hallucination, and fans originally weren't sure what (or who) they were seeing.
