TriviaWhich Demon Slayer Character Are You? Demon Slayer, also known as Kimetsu no Yaiba, is a popular anime based on a manga by Koyoharu Gotouge. The anime primarily follows the story of a young boy named Tanjiro who becomes a demon hunter after most of his family is murdered by one. Tanjiro is driven to find a cure for his sister, Nezuko, who was turned into a demon when the rest of their family died.
Demon Slayer has a wide range of highly likable supporting cast members. Tanjiro makes friends with the wild Inosuke and cowardly Zenitsu during his travels. He also finds an ally in the wise doctor-turned-demon, Tamayo. He has multiple encounters with the Water Hashira, Giyu. Each character has a unique personality, preferences and desires. Fun Facts
According to a survey by Shonen Jump, Zenitsu Agatsuma is the fans' favorite character. Giyu, the Water Hashira, took second place. Tanjiro and Inosuke also made the survey's top 10 list. Tanjiro came in fourth place, while Inosuke came in sixth. Surprisingly, Nezuko was just barely excluded from the list, as she fell in 11th place.
An ongoing skit in Demon Slayer is that Inosuke can't remember Tanjiro's proper name. Throughout the series, Inosuke incorrectly calls Tanjiro the following names: Gonpachiro Kamaboko, Gengoro Shariki, Tonatro Itadaki, Kanjiro Anago, Tangoro Hamado, Jangoro Amado, Monjiro, Kentaro, Santaro and Sochiro. It isn't known whether Inosuke uses these names because his memory is poor or he likes to irritate Tanjiro.
