The NFL (National Football League) is the United States’ professional football league. The league consists of 32 clubs that are located throughout the nation, and is split into two separate conferences of 16 clubs.
The NFL was founded in 1920 and is now one of the most watched sports on the planet. Although very popular in the United States, however, there is limited interest in the sport internationally. Regardless, the millions of domestic viewers still generate considerable revenue, and those at the top of the game can expect to make a lot of money.
Since the league was founded, it has seen many names that have helped to make the game as successful as it is. Some NFL players will go down in the history books forever, as well as the teams that they played for.
