TriviaThe Ultimate One Direction Quiz is finally here! The band One Direction rose to fame in 2010 after being discovered on The X Factor. With their catchy pop-rock sound, the band immediately captivated young audiences from around the world. Fans wanted to find out everything they could about the English-Irish boy band. Members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne enjoyed incredible success before the band split in 2016.
The 1D members are all pursuing solo careers since the band's hiatus. In early March 2015, Zayn Malik left the band, which created a rift with the other members. A Twitter war ensued, but shortly after, everyone reconciled. Zayn paved the way for the others to leave, and they're now successful solo artists. Although the band split quite some time ago, fans remain devoted and hopeful that they'll eventually reunite.
Fun Facts
Did you know that 1D hired a bread van to go sightseeing while on a tour of Brazil? The band really wanted to see the Christ the Redeemer statue, but couldn't risk being spotted by thousands of fans. They went incognito by hiring a local bread van and got to enjoy a bit of anonymity. They did this on a few of their tours so they could enjoy a normal holiday.
Did you know that One Direction's tour bus was involved in a terrifying crash? The accident took place in Birmingham, U.K., when the band was returning to their hotel after a concert. The band members were all treated for head and neck injuries and had to cancel a concert because of them. Luckily, the accident wasn't serious.
