TriviaWe've loved the characters of Friends since the show first hit our screens in 1994. We understood their ups and downs, we cared when they fell in love and when they failed in love, and we were insanely jealous of Monica's astonishing apartment. (In Manhattan? On a twentysomething's salary? How could they possibly afford it?!)
More than that, we saw ourselves in the Friends — and we saw our relationships there, too. Your shy friend showed how devastated he was by his breakup because Ross showed him how. Fun Facts
As a sitcom, Friends was usually filmed in front of a live studio audience. However, when there were cliffhangers (like Ross's wedding to Emily — you know what we mean), no audience was present to protect the secret.
Monica was originally supposed to end up with Joey — but after audiences responded so well when she hooked up with Chandler, the writers changed the storyline. Because honestly, could Monica and Joey BE any more wrong?!
